Over the centuries three small villages have become one: Winterbourne Earls, Winterbourne Dauntsey and Winterbourne Gunner share the shop, Post Office, Victorian Church and public house. There is a range of clubs and societies which meet in the village, for children as well as retired people, art drama and music etc. The village has a number of big events each year, summer fetes, a bonfire night, music and drama shows, art exhibitions and craft fairs.
