Buckinghamshire
Cognatum has three estates across Buckinghamshire, in Old Beaconsfield, Great Missenden and Lane End. Much of the county sits within the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which has long been a draw to walkers, ramblers and cyclists. Aylesbury is a cultural hub, home to the renowned Waterside Theatre, and High Wycombe and Milton Keynes between them offer myriad shops, restaurants and leisure activities. The magnificent houses of Clivedon, Stowe and Waddesdon are also all in Buckinghamshire, as is the charming model village Bekonscot. However, you needn’t go far before the secluded, leafy lanes give way to major roadways, with the M40 running through the south of the county linking London and the Midlands and Heathrow airport only a few junctions around the M25.
