Cognatum’s five Gloucestershire estates can be found in Moreton-in-Marsh, Minchinhampton, Fairford, Cirencester and Lechlade-on-Thames. Gloucestershire spreads across a wealth of countryside, from the Forest of Dean in the south up to some of the most glorious Cotswold scenery in the north. It’s also renowned for its offering of manicured flora, namely Westonbirt Arboretum, Sudeley Castle and Gardens, Kiftsgate Court Gardens and Batsford Arboretum. Alongside a range of bustling shops, restaurants, museums and galleries, the local towns offer much history and culture, with the Georgian elegance of the spa town of Cheltenham and a number of Roman sites in and around Cirencester. The M5 runs straight through the county, linking the West Country and the Midlands, and the beauty of the Malvern Hills and the Welsh countryside are pleasantly close by.
